This statement is an update disclosure made within the scope of Article 23/7 of the Communiqué on Material Events (II-15.1):
The works regarding the second paper machine investment with an annual capacity of 125,000 tons at our Company's İzmir–Kemalpaşa facility are progressing in line with the planned phases, and the investment has reached a substantially advanced stage of completion. In our public disclosure dated 17 December 2025, our projections regarding the commissioning process of the investment were shared.
At the current stage, during the installation and integration processes, additional revisions and improvements have been required in relation to the technical compatibility of certain equipment and systems. In addition, disruptions in supply chains and fluctuations in cost elements arising from global and regional geopolitical developments have also impacted the investment process.
In light of these developments, the commissioning schedule is being reassessed with a prudent approach in order to ensure the highest level of long-term efficiency and operational continuity of the investment. In this context, the procurement of the required equipment and technical optimization processes are being carried out in a planned and controlled manner.
As of the current status, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic tests are ongoing. Following the installation of the remaining equipment, the procurement of which is expected to be completed within May, water tests will be conducted, to be followed by pulp tests. Final production will commence upon completion of the pulp tests.
Developments regarding the investment budget and financing structure are being continuously monitored. At present, there is no unforeseen risk affecting the financial structure.
Developments related to the investment and updated information regarding the commissioning process will continue to be disclosed to the public as they become clear.
Respectfully announced to the public.
In the event of a contradiction between the Turkish and English versions of this public disclosure, the Turkish version shall prevail.
